As a business journalist, she spent years reporting on startups and companies shaping growth across Charlotte, North Carolina, and beyond. Through that work, she saw firsthand what separates forgettable brands from the ones people trust: clarity, consistency and connection.

She also saw how challenging it is for founders to manage social media while running a business.
